Yes To's fragrance is a mix of essential oils, natural aromatic chemicals and other synthetic ingredients that are approved by RIFM (Research Institute for Fragrance Materials). The synthetic ingredients are used when there are no natural alternatives to create the current scent.
Are your products safe for use by pregnant women?
While we work to have a very high level of natural and organic ingredients, we suggest you discuss the use of our products, or any products, with your doctor during pregnancy.
I am a Vegan. What products can I use?
Most of our products are great for vegans! A few use animal-produced or derived products like beeswax and honey. Please email email@example.com for an updated list!
I am allergic to Carrots/Tomatoes/Cucumbers/Blueberries, can I still use your products?
We cannot guarantee that the use of carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers will not cause an allergic reaction. We suggest you consult with your doctor prior to using our products.
Where are your synthetic ingredients derived from?
Among our synthetic ingredients are preservatives such as potassium sorbate and benzyl alcohol. Although Most potassium sorbate is made synthetically, potassium sorbate is a naturally occurring unsaturated fatty acid and is completely safe with regard to health, and has the lowest allergenic potential of all food reservatives. Benzyl Alcohol is derived from Benzoic Acid, which is a naturally occuring acid found in plants and some fruits.
I may have had a reaction to one of your products. What do I do?

Do any Yes To Products contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS ) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES)?
None of the current formulas contain SLS or SLES

No! We are so used to saying "Yes," but are happy to say there are NO phthalates in our products.
Does Yes To Carrots™ contain animal ingredients?
The Yes To product families do not contain animal ingredients with the exception of Honey Extract and Beeswax. Both of these ingredients are derived naturally from bees.
Do the products really contain carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes?
Yes, our products actually contain carrot juice, cucumber extract, and tomato extract among other vegetables and fruits. We may even help you get in your 5 veggies a day!
Will Yes To Carrots products make my skin turn orange?
No, they will not.
Will Yes To hair care products adversely affect my color treated hair?
We suggest using our Yes To Cucumbers hair care line. It is formulated especially for color-treated hair, and should not affect your gorgeous locks!
My baby seems to have had a reaction to a Yes To Baby Carrots product. What should I do?

What is Isopropyl Myristate? What are the sources of this ingredient? Is it natural?
Isopropyl Myristate 95% NF/EP (National Formulary/European Pharmacopeia) is derived from natural vegetable oil. This ingredient is 'kosher certified' and used in kosher foods (certification available).
What is Phenoxyethanol? Is this an ethoxylated ingredient? Do any of the Baby Carrots products have ethoxylated ingredients? If so, how does Yes To remove the dioxan 1,4 from these ingredients?
No, none of the Baby Carrots ingredients are ethoxylated.
Phenoxyethanol is a form of natural alcohol and is derived from either Rose Oil or Green Tea; in this case we use Phenoxyethanol derived from Green Tea. This ingredient has nothing to do with the ethoxylation process, and therefore does not involve any stripping processes.
The role of Phenoxyethanol in our products is to prevent and retard microbial growth, and thus protect our products from spoilage.
What is Citric Acid? Is this natural?
Citric acid exists in a variety of fruits and vegetables, most notably citrus fruits. This ingredient is sourced primarily from lemons and limes, and is 100% natural.
What is Retinyl Palmitate? How does Yes To source this ingredient, and is it natural?
Retinyl Palmitate is produced from Retinol (Vitamin A) and is sometimes referred to as Vitamin A Palmitate. The precursors of Retinyl Palmitate are: (a) beta-carotene e.g. carrots (b) Palm Oil.
Yes To extracts Retinyl Palmitate by crushing the carrots and then extracting the ingredient using heat.
Are the Baby Carrots products Gluten Free?
Yes. All five of the Baby Carrots products are gluten free.
What is Tocopheryl Acetate? Where does this ingredient come from?
Tocopherol, a fat-soluble vitamin, is found in vegetable fats and oils, dairy products, meat, eggs, cereals, nuts, and leafy green and yellow vegetables. It is usually present in a form as alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta- Tocopherol. The alpha form has the same biological activity as vitamin E. Tocopherols can be produced from vegetable oils or can be synthesized.
Tocopherol Acetate is the ingredient used in Yes To products, and is derived from the etherification of Tocopherol with acetic acid. This ingredient is also frequently the source of vitamin E in dietary supplements.
Is Glycerin vegetable based?
The glycerin used in our products is sourced from vegetable fats and oils.
What preservatives are used in Yes To Baby Carrots products?
Yes To Baby Carrots contains two preservatives, Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate. We are happy to say that these are paraben-free preservatives.
What ingredients in the Bubble Bath are actually 'cleansing' agents? How are these ingredients sourced?
The cleansing agents we use in the Baby Carrots 'Naturally Cleansing Bubble Bath' are Lauryl Glucoside (derived from corn), Decyl Glucoside (derived from corn), and Coco-Sulfate (derived from coconut).

Yes To strives to create products with as many natural ingredients as possible, and therefore, we choose to use preservatives other than parabens.
Are all Yes To products all natural?

What's the difference between all-natural and organic?
A product labeled 'natural' has not been chemically altered from its original state, and nothing as been removed or added. Our natural products are derived from natural plants or animal sources. A product labeled "organic" has been manufactured, produced and distributed through organic means, which are defined by specific guidelines set forth by the FDA.
Are your products non-comedogenic?
The Yes To Cucumber Facial Towelettes are non-comedogenic, as is the Yes To Tomatoes Repairing Acne lotion.

Yes, most of our Yes To Cucumber products have been certified as hypo-allergenic.
