The only thing that works!
December 28, 2015
I have very sensitive skin. During the winter especially, my skin gets so dry it flakes. I've tried various moisturizers but all of them did more harm than good. This moisturizer is very light and not greasy at all. It's the only one I buy now.

Doesn't irritate my sensitive skin
August 27, 2015
It's suitable to my sensitive skin and works great. This is the only product I can use. You may need to learn how to apply it if you are not familiar with physical sunscreens (which include zinc and leave white residue).

my new go-to face sunscreen
May 14, 2015
After reading the reviews, I was ready to have a “ghost” face but I really believe in using zinc oxide and titanium dioxide as opposed to the other chemicals on the market. However, I was pleasantly surprised how well this did soak into my skin and blended with my skin tone. I have medium fair complexion and had no issues. In fact, I thought it acted well as a moisturizer and was a pretty good base coat under my light makeup routine. I bought this for a trip to Vegas, knowing that the Nevada sun can be brutal. Not an ounce of red all weekend – 2 days at an outdoor all day music festival and a pool party. Knowing it’d take a little bit for my face to absorb the product, I applied, lightly rubbed it then did my hair (~5 min.). By time I was ready to start my makeup, things were good to go.

Too thick
August 13, 2015
I use a face cream with sunblock everyday, so when they upped the SPF in this product I was excited. But when I tried it, I was very disappointed. It is WAY TOO THICK. It never rubs in and takes forever to dry. So forget putting make-up over it if you're in any kind of hurry. I ended up keeping the bottle in the car to use as hand lotion.

Ehhh
June 6, 2015
I normally use a slightly more expensive daily lotion with SPF by another brand but when I went to repurchase it, I saw this was less expensive (still expensive) and I had had good experiences with this brand before. I carry the Yes to Cucumbers wipes in my purse in the summer for hot days and I have used the Yes to Tomatoes line before and loved it. This made my skin feel greasy and the texture was chalky. When I put it on it left a white film and I had to rub it in a lot. For a lotion specifically for people with sensitive skin, the last thing you want to do it have to rub it in extremely. I'm going to test it out a little longer but might go buy the other brand I know and love. I do, however, like the scent. Possibly the only pro.

yuck

This product is thick and chunky like sunscreen. The other cucumber face lotion felt better and applied smoother. I will still finish the product but will mot use this one again.

Smells good
May 6, 2015
Smells nice. Very thick. Leaves a white residue on my face. A little heavy for me, however, If you are looking for a strong SPF face cream this is your cream.

Don't buy this!
May 5, 2015
I've used it 3 times now and my skin burns everytime I apply it. It also made my skin red and blotchy for hours after use. I would not recommend this product, especially for the price!

TiO2 a little heavy
May 5, 2015
I know it has the amount of TiO2 for the rating but I need to mix it with something to thin it a bit (like the night cream) the TiO2 makes it a bit dry when applying and also gives a white palor, I really don't need to be any whiter.

Too thick and gloppy! Goes on worse than tanning lotion. Want to return it.

OK if you want to look like a clown
May 2, 2015
This moisturizer contains zinc oxide - white. I could not get the "white" to "rub in" and disappear so I had to wipe it off with a cloth. If left on, I would have looked like a clown! Is that why it was a Today Show deal? I do however, like the facial cleanser.

Not a lotion, just sunscreen
April 17, 2015
I'm pretty disappointed in this product. It went on like a zinc oxide smear and two hours later my face was still coated with a white film. I needed a lotion with sunscreen for daily use, sadly this is not it.

Returned to store - Bad product
April 2, 2015
This is more of a thick suntan lotion than a moisturizer. It doesn't soak in, just sits on top and leaves a white film on my face. It didn't moisturize. I returned it to the place of purchase.

Wears and smells like cheap sunscreen
March 9, 2015
I'd agree with other displeased reviewers - gross consistency, turns face white, smells like old sunscreen, doesn't absorb and leaves skin feeling lotion-y. Will be returning for sure. Bummer.

Awful...
February 15, 2015
I had very high hopes for this day cream after using the calming night cream. I was extremely disappointed! The smell is awful and the consistency feels like paste. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CREAM! I use the calming night cream as a day cream and it is amazing.

Chalky, funny smelling, don't buy.
February 11, 2015
I've been using a different sunscreen face moisturizer for a while, but decided to try this brand. At least for this product, that was a mistake. It doesn't absorb and leaves my face a chalky white. I was told that it was due to the zinc oxide in the sunscreen, but I've had other face sunscreens that didn't make me look ghostly like this. The smell is very grassy. I didn't mind it too much, but it lingers, and my boyfriend really didn't care for it. I'm going to try the blueberry moisturizer instead, but I'm really sad you guys don't have a good sunscreen formulation.

Nice Light Moisturizer
January 9, 2015
This is my go-to light moisturizer! I have mild-moderate acne, but I love this fragrance! It doesn't cause me any breakouts. During the harsh winter months in Cleveland, I need something more intense but for the rest of the year, this is my fave!

Disappointing
January 8, 2015
While the Yes To brands are generally a good buy, this product does not do the trick. It feels chalky and uncomfortable on the face and turns your skin white. Very disappointed in this purchase.

Very chalky and turns face white.
October 22, 2014
Very chalky. Very hard to blend and ends up turning your face white. It says that it's a moisturizer with spf, however it's really more of a sunscreen than a moisturizer. Will be trying another product for a moisturizer.

Great for sensitive skin!

Disappointing purchase
August 22, 2014
I've used a bunch of different "Say Yes" products (favorites being grapefruit and carrot) so I figured I would love the cucumber just as much.... Nope. Just a pump of moisturizer takes a good 3 minutes to fully blend in to my face. It leaves me super greasy, even after applying mineral makeup. I tried it for a week but have since switched back to carrots.

feels heavy and sort of greasy
August 17, 2014
I was looking for a moisturizer and went specifically for the cruelty free aisle at Wal-Mart. I did read that it said sunscreen but I didn't think it would feel as heavy and greasy as a regular sunscreen. Cannot return to store because I threw away box that came in but I only used it once and thank God I didn't apply make up over it or that would have been messy. Not a good purchase. It smells like sunscreen and has a faint cucumber aroma. And it left me looking like a mime. My face was all white with the lotions film and it wouldn't disperse.

I love this product
August 12, 2014
I really don't understand why It has so many bad reviews, the first time I used it it did burn, but only because my skin was so dry. This is day 3 and it no longer burns to use, my skin has visibly improved, ( along with using yes to cucumbers make up remover wipes, yes to tomatoes acne clearing face wipes, and yes to grapefruit exfoliating wipes everyday) I love it. My foundation no longer shows my dry spots!

READ CLOSELY
July 31, 2014
I have read other reviews and agree that the wording is deceiving! I thought it was a moisturizer, not a SUNSCREEN. They should have labeled it better. I am discouraged at trying other products because they're relatively expensive and I don't want to be deceived and disappointed. I understand it was my fault for not fully inspecting it. But this appears to be a common mistake, so I would hope that Yes To would look into making an adjustment. It hasn't made my face red or anything, so I would recommend it!

Not what I intended to purchase
July 15, 2014
I needed a moisturizer for my sensitive, dry skin. I saw the package of Yes To Cucumbers Daily Calming Moisturizer and, along with the price, I decided to give it a shot. Once applied, it felt strange compared to any moisturizer I've ever used. I further inspected the bottle only to find that the main ingredient is zinc (which feels heavy on my face) and the main purpose is to be used as a sunscreen. I realize I should have read closer (I take the blame), however if a product says in bold MOISTURIZER but in small text on the back of the bottle it claims it's only a sunscreen, people reading topically- like me- will get confused. I feel like the package wording was deceiving. If it would have been advertised as a sunscreen, I would not have purchased it. I would recommend this product if you're looking for a sunscreen that smells pleasant, has a sizable SPF, and blocks UV rays (because it's actually a sunscreen, it does that).

Not what I would call a moisturizer.
July 8, 2014
A sunscreen, perhaps, but not a moisturizer unless you want a translucent layer of zinc oxide on your face. I purchased it along with the Yes to Grapefruit dark spot correcting serum. The instructions for the serum state, "follow with your favorite Yes To moisturizer." The Yes To Cuc SPF 30 moisturizer on top of the serum does not spread smoothly. This combination forms a clumpy mess that is difficult to wash off. I tried the moisturizer alone, using very little, and it still left a white film that did not absorb. For the first time ever, I am returning a skincare product to the store. I usually just throw it away and don't purchase again, but there were too many problems with this. I could keep it and use it as a sunscreen, but I have good sunscreen products that won't leave a white film.

I loved the cucumber face wash and wanted to try the moisturizer. bad mistake!!! it is gross thick in texture and leaves a white film on your face that never fully absorbs, rubs in, and is hard to wash off. it smells kind of weird too, even though the face wash and wipes smell amazing. Not so much a lotion as sunscreen
May 15, 2014
I find this product to be too heavy on the Zinc Oxide and although it says non-ghosting, I find it hard to rub in and it appears white. I have absolutely loved every other product from Yes To Carrots and it pains me to give them a bad review. I now know to purchase only the standard Daily Moisturizer.

Not for sensitive skin!
February 7, 2014
I bought this product because my friends used it and told me that the Yes to brand was amazing - natural and it worked. I decided to splurge and buy the yes to cucumbers moisturizer and daily cleansing towelettes and liked the idea that they are hypo-allergenic and meant for sensitive skin. I've had so many allergic reactions to chemically based products, so this product filled me with hope. However, I was immediately disappointed. I ran home to try this stuff, and found that my face immediately turned red. I thought "okay, no big deal. The box says that it's normal if it causes some discoloration." but then it started to burn. My eyes were on fire, my skin swelled and little bumps appeared. My skin scorched and the smell was terrible (smells more like bread and butter pickles than cucumbers!). I'm really disappointed with this purchase. I spent around 30$ on the product just to have it cause a reaction. Although, I will admit, once the reaction goes down (usually takes an hour or so), my skin is really soft after using it, but it's not worth my time and money to have to have an allergic reaction for nice skin. No thanks. Will not buy again.

Great if your Halloween costume is a ghost
February 4, 2014
I had tried the Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin moisturizer and fell in love with it instantly. I ran out and when I went to buy more they had none (sob). So, I looked and bought this instead, thinking it was a cucumber equivalent in a larger bottle. Boy, was I wrong. It dries instantly which makes my face feel like rubber, and makes me look an entirely different race. It smells weird and doesn't even make me feel moisturized. 0/10, no thumbs up, and wouldn't buy again.

Say yes to acne?
January 22, 2014

Completely unhappy!
January 14, 2014
The product is completely white. It goes on white onto your skin and leaves a white film on your skin. It doesn't matter how much you try to blend it in. The more I tried to blend it, the less moisturizing it got. I am completely unhappy.

Horrible!
January 12, 2014
I had previously purchased this product when it had no SPF in it, and it did wonders to my skin! It had a lovely consistency and it blended in perfectly as well as moisturized my skin. I ran out so I went and bought a new one and I had saw that it had SPF in it so I thought it would be great bonus! I put it on and the second I put it on my finger I was extremely disappointed! The consistency was definitely not the same as the previous moisturizer that did not have SPF. I put it on my skin and it was even worse! It would not blend in AT ALL and the cream would dry up so that I couldn't even AT LEAST try to blend it in. It looked like i had put white stage make-up on my face! It also smelt horribly! I am extremely disappointed in this product, as it was not an improvment to the last. Not buying from this brand ever again!

Not what I expected
January 6, 2014
I bought this product yesterday and even though I was not impressed with the strong scent, I came up with a few tips on how to use this - you do not need a lot of this product, not even a pea sized amount. A little goes a loooong way. - layer this moisturizer over another moisturizer in order to avoid having a white cast. Layering also keeps the product from sinking into lines on the face ( without layering you will NEVER be able to successfully rub it in). A good thing that I can say about this moisturizer is that it definitely does not have an oily sheen, and as long as there is a smooth base, it blends quite nicely. However, I think that I will go back to my Olay Sensitive skin moisturizer as you do not have to layer it, and you do not have any chance of having a white cast.

Doesn't rub in well
November 12, 2013
I was so excited for this product since I love the cucumber night cream, but every time I use it, I end up looking like a ghost - or someone who didn't rub in her sunscreen. No matter how much I rub it in, I still end up with white streaks/patches on my face. I'm now looking for a new day cream (not from this company) and will only wear this product if I'm going to be in the sun for an extended period and only if I'm not going to be photographed or in front of a group.

Waste of money!
October 28, 2013
Worst moisturizer I've ever tried. Leaves thick waxy white layer everywhere it is applied, and is unsuitable as a face or body moisturizer for this reason. Everything the other reviewers say is true...it is virtually impossible to rub this film in. I purchased this by mistake as I usually use this moisturizer in the formula without SPF, and find it works well. When I tried this I was extremely disappointed. I can't believe the company hasn't responded to the reviews or recalled the product. Yuck.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL
October 8, 2013
Really bad product. It's basically like you're just putting zinc oxide on your face - leaves it white and chalky and doesn't rub in. I have been using daily moisturizers with sunscreen for years and have never experienced a product like this. I normally love this brand's products so it's unfortunate this is such a miss.

Hated it
October 5, 2013
My sister bought this, in search of a vegetarian facial moisturizer, and didn't like it, so I figured I'd give it a try. The cucumber smell is very strong and lingers. The moisturizer is also very thick, causing me to have to rub it in harder than I've ever had to with other moisturizers, and it was making my skin tingle and burn, even though I don't have sensitive skin. I used it twice, and had to wash it off quickly after applying it. I wouldn't recommend this, and it's put me off from trying other Yes to products.

Sticky and doesn't absorb
September 10, 2013
I wanted to try out a new moisturizer with sunscreen that didn't have parabens. I've used "Yes To" products before and loved them. This particular product, however, was a complete waste of money. First, there's some gritty parts in the actual crème - not sure what those are. Then when I try to rub the product into my skin, it just sits there. It doesn't absorb. So I have to rub and rub and rub before the white thick cream disappears. Not what I was looking for.

Too "thick"
August 24, 2013
I have been using the sister product to this for over a year (w/o SPF) and love it. It is silky and rubs in well, this one... Not so much. Maybe it's the addition of the SPF, maybe it's a different formula... But it's stiff when you try to rub it in and leaves my face with a white sunscreen look....which takes several minutes to rub in fully.

white residue!
August 22, 2013

way too chalky!!!
August 22, 2013
I basically have the same complaints that many other unsatisfied customers have for this product. I cant even say that it feels like a sunscreen in the sense that it leaves a white film on your face....its worse than a sunscreen! It left my face incredibly sticky! If it felt like a good moisturizer but still left the white sheen I wouldn't be complaining so much but this is awful because of how sticky and irritating this product is. I love the yes to products but this one is a complete miss. The reason I went for the moisturizer with the spf is because its summer and I'm very pale but I will make sure I go with the one without spf from now on and just put some sunscreen over it. Unfortunately ill have to just throw the almost full container away unless I find someone who strangely likes it.

Great sun block
August 15, 2013
I like that Yes to Cucumbers daily calming moisturizer with SPF 30. The SPF works well but I don't enjoy the smell or the thickness. The smell does go away with time but mornings come to early for everyone so something a little more pleasing to the nose would be nice. The thickness of the moisturizer is also not pleasing it turns your face white and is hard to massage into your skin. It would be better if it was creamier and absorbed more easily. The SPF work wonderfully even hours latter.

More like sunscreen with a touch of moisturizer
August 6, 2013
I was really excited when I brought this product home because I LOVE the cleansing wipes from the cucumber collection. I was incredibly disappointed when I put this stuff on my face and it felt like a thick glob of greasy sunscreen. I am all for moisturizers with sunscreen in them but this was more sunscreen, no moisture. Not to mention it turned my face ghost white and wouldn't rub in, contrary to the description. Hope they can formulate a better moisturizer with a lighter feel to it, because I would never use this on a daily basis.

White stuff
July 30, 2013
The size of the product is perfect for traveling, and I was excited to find a SPF 30 daily moisturizer, but the active ingredients are white and chalky---and travel! I must have had a bit on my fingers, which ended up on my black dress. Will have to get that dry cleaned now. And I looked like a ghost. Surely you can make a SPF 30 that blends in. I like the smell though.

Not the light moisturizer I was expecting
July 25, 2013
I used only one pump and there was way too much product in my hand to all fit on my face. Even using a third of the pump left my face completely white. The product wouldn't massage into my face and far from calming the rubbing irritated my face. The zinc oxide felt chalky on my face, not moisturizing. I was very disappointed considering how perfect the yes to cucumbers milk cleanser is.

Great for oily & sensitive skin
June 19, 2013
I know everyone complains about how hard it is to work this product into the skin, BUT- it's as simple as lightly applying it all over the face (just so it covers the areas you need), waiting 30-45 seconds for all the moisture to absorb into the skin, and then start working the sunscreen component of the moisturizer into the skin. Not that anyone who needs to run out the door in the mornings would enjoy this little bit of extra hassle (I know I don't, haha). I actually get hives on my oily/sensitive skin from harsh sunlight and this product moisturizes, soothes, and protects my face from the UV rays that cause the reaction. It does not leave my face feeling greasy, just lightly moisturized and has not caused any blemishes to appear on my acne-prone skin. However, this product does leave a tackiness on my skin, but that can be fixed with a bit of face powder. It also leaves the skin smelling like cucumbers (obviously, it IS the cucumber line!), so if you don't like the smell you probably shouldn't purchase from the cucumber line of products.

Difficult but worth it
May 28, 2013
Yes yes, the spf ingredients in this product can be troublesome. And hopefully the company will see reviews and seek to better it. Because at the core of this I think is a good product and good idea. The store I went to was out of my normal Yes to Carrots daily, so with a buy 1 get 1 40%off sale I decided to try Cucumber. It will seem like it's separated, and will go on white. But blend, blend, blend...and then blend again. Put it on in small amounts. This is not a moisturizer you're going to just slather on and go, but it is worth the time I think. Overall, my acne but dry prone skin has felt better 2 days of this then it did with Yes to Carrots. Yes the white/separating is highly annoying, but I think the spf protection is worth it. I went out yesterday without make up because my skin felt so great after using this and the night time Cucumber. The trick is too really blend it in, and give it a few min. to absorb. Put it on and do something else for a few. I wear a bb cream over this as my foundation make up, and so far have not had a problem and have found my foundation has stayed on in NC hot weather very well with this moisturizer.

Needs some improvement
May 13, 2013
Like many of the reviewers before me, when I first used the lotion I looked like a clown after I used it for the first time. Then I realized that the white face was caused by using too much of the lotion at once. I tried using about half a pumps worth of the lotion and it spread out onto my skin without leaving a film or any whiteness. The other part I'm not thrilled with is that the lotion leaves my skin tacky for the entire day. The tackiness fades over the course of the day, but my face still feels sticky when I wash my face at the end of the day. It may be that my skin is too hydrated to absorb all of the lotion at once, I'm not sure.

Sticky
April 24, 2013
I was very excited to find a natural moisturizer with SPF. But sadly I was extreamly disappointed to find that the moisturizer at first came out very sticky and pasty. I initially assumed that the past was just the beginnings of the moisturizer that had been caught in the cap and had dried. I then pumped a second pump and found that the moisturizer is just in fact pasty. I check the box to see if maybe my product had just expired but it was good to go for at least another year. When I actually put the product on my face, my skin turned out VERY sticky and greasy. The product was almost impossible to rub in and left me white as a ghost. After it finally soaked in I felt like I was wearing glue on my face for the rest of the day. Even patches of my hair would get stuck to my face. This product was in no way soothing or calming. My face turned bright red after the initial two uses.

Great improvement!
April 11, 2013
I have been looking for a face moisturizer that is natural and healthy for my skin. When I came across this line, and saw the SPF 30, I was sold. The lotion has a light but pleasant scent. I only use half of a pump, because using much more will have you rubbing it in for an hour, Half a pump, about 30 seconds of spreading and massaging, and voila! - lovely moisturized skin. Yes, you will have a slight white tint to your face at first, but I promise it will sink in within a minute or two. I have experienced more moisturized, calm and less acne prone skin since using this product.

Good for people with acne
April 7, 2013
I have really bad acne, and this moisturizer along with the simple brand refreshing facial wash gel have kept my skin very clear, better than it has ever been since my teenage years. I see most of the negative reviews are because it does not absorb well. I do have to work to get it to rub in sometimes ,but it's really worth it for me because I've been struggling with acne for so long. I really hope they keep this product on the market because I would be screwed without it.

Disappointing
April 2, 2013
I decided to get a moisturizer with SPF in order to better protect my face from the sun. When I first used it I was somewhat confused because it didn't look right at all. It was all...curdled looking? I decided to squeeze more out to see if it'd get any better but it didn't. I shrugged it off and decided to try it. It's really difficult to rub in and I don't like putting strain on my skin in order to do that. The problem being that if I don't try really hard to rub it in, it leaves a weird white tint on my face and it looks really awkward. When I did rub it in, though, it would keep my face moisturized the rest of the day (I had really bad dry skin in winter so my face would be flaky). And the smell is pretty awful, in my opinion. Needless to say I'm disappointed in this product.

A grainy white goop that I had to wash off!
March 21, 2013
This product sounded like a great one to try, as I wear sunscreen all year and my face is dry in the winter. I put it on this morning and was horrified to discover that the grainy white goop did not absorb at all. My face had a clownish white film. I waited a minute or two. Whiteness faded, though did not go entirely. Then, as I was brushing my teeth and trying to think positively about the "I'm still wearing some sort of face-masque" feeling, a bit of water from my toothbrush hit my cheek, and the white color returned! I washed my face!!! Yuck. It's unusable and a complete waste of money.

Disappointing
March 10, 2013
Product is really grainy and does not apply well to your face. Leaves a white gritty film. Rather unpleasant. I've used a number of the other moisturizers and love them, but this one is not worth bothering with at all.

My skin feels amazing!!
March 4, 2013
I bought this moisturizer after using some that my sister had bought. I was skeptical at first because I have really bad acne and pretty much everything makes my skin break out and i'm also allergic to most sunscreen and i'm 27!! I had heard great things about the Yes to brand and I was curious as to whether this moisturizer would work. It does take a little work to get it to blend and for it to absorb but my skin has never felt more soft!! I have not had any new breakouts at all since I started using it either!! I am definitely recommending this and all other Yes To products to everyone I know!

Difficult to blend in but works great
March 2, 2013
I was a little confused when I first used this, I thought I had accidentally bought sunscreen alone! It really does feel like putting on sunscreen. I felt like I was tugging the skin around my eyes a little too much to get it to blend in. However, my skin felt great through the day, under make up or without make up.

Chalky and streaky
February 21, 2013
Having heard great things about "Yes to..." products, I was disappointed in my first go with them. This is marketed as a moisturizer, but it behaves like a sunblock ... one produced 20 years ago before all those super-absorbant ingredients were utilized. Too thick, too unspreadable, far too chalky. Not a good product. Bummer.

Not Great

I love the cucumber face wash and wipes but the Cucumbers Daily Calming Moisturizer left my skin looking dry and streaky.

Love the Ingredients, Love the Product
January 21, 2013
I have super-sensitive skin and cannot wear chemical sunscreens. Yes, the product takes a bit of effort to rub in but I'll take it for the following reasons: I have had no breakouts, my face is not shiny an hour later (which is typically the case), the smell is not overwhelming, stays on well, and it is primarily made with natural ingredients. I find the best time to apply the product is after I wash my face and have applied some facial serum. Great product!

Moisturizes well but not great consistency
January 14, 2013
I found this product very moisturizing and gentle, but it's clumpy and does require a fair bit of massaging to absorb. I did notice that white filmy sheen others have commented on but I found that it eventually disappears/absorbs.

Good product!

This is a great moisturizer for the face and it smells awesome. Only downside is that it doesn't blend very well into the skin. Makes my face super duper soft.

Disappointed!
January 2, 2013
I really wanted to like this product but I found it heavy, ineffective and kind of gross feeling. It wouldn't rub or sink in--so I was left with a white film on my face. I ended up throwing it out--a waste of money. I LOVE some of the other Say Yes products so this really, really disappointed me.

takes a little more effort for it to totally blend and not leave white streaks, but overall i love it and its great!

My New Daily Moisturizer and Sunscreen
December 31, 2012
This was exactly what I was looking for: a non-tinted moisturizer with an SPF more than 15. I did find that if you just put a lot on your face and try to rub it in that it will leave a white cast, but if you pump out a bit at a time and rub it into one area really well at a time that it almost completely blends in. I actually found that stippling it on with a flat top brush and then gently buffing (before it dries) also worked very well. It dries somewhat matte, but there is a bit of shine (I would say minimal), so I dust a bit of my favorite powder over it and it solves that. It feels nice on my face and the scent is quite mild, and unnoticeable after a bit. At the end of the day the powder had faded and there was a tiny bit more of a white cast, but I think if I had touched up the powder all day it probably would still look the same as when I started. My skin was moisturized and not oily at all at the end of the day. I love this stuff!

Left White Streaks, Did not blend
December 23, 2012
This product was extremely thick and left sticky white streaks. Did not blend into the skin well at all and had to throw it away. Love the products, and am not sure if this was just a faulty batch.

lumpy
December 6, 2012
I have loved every Yes To product- until now. This lotion is lumpy and streaky. Don't buy it. It won't fully absorb and leaves your skin with a white layer. I'm going to go back to my Yes To Carrots with SPF 15, or might try the new Blueberry SPF 30. What a waste.

Can be difficult to work with but worth it.
November 30, 2012
This product's consistency can be difficult to work with but I take my time and massage it in really gently. I wear makeup everyday and this makes my makeup last on my oily skin like no other. I will definitely be repurchasing this :)

Too Thick and whitening

Unfortunately the product was not what I had expected. Although the product was non greasy it went on way too white and would not fade.

Like white face paint
October 3, 2012
I don't know if I got a bad batch or if this is the way the product normally works. It's nearly impossible to blend it in. I've always used a moisturizer with an spf and have never had a problem blending it into my face, but this product leaves white streaks and blobs that take about 1 full minute of rubbing to actually absorb into the skin and even then my skin is left tacky and white.

Unpleasant smell & consistency
October 3, 2012
I was very disappointed in this product after using the moisturizer without sunblock. That was creamy, smooth & pleasant. This one was smelly, too thick, didn't go on nicely, and unusable.

Not the best...
August 24, 2012
It's okay. It's so difficult to rub into my skin, and it leaves little white spots on my face. I hate to use it in the day time, but using it at night is okay. I usually use it after waxing my eyebrows, if I have a sunburn, or if my skin is just feeling a little itchy. It is very soothing.

well...
August 24, 2012
Ok,first. ew lol. This product is so thick! I always choose to test out face product at night and good thing. This product smells like crayons and kind of applys like clay. it left a sticky feeling on my face and made it look white.. However, i must say that i am going to continue use for night time only because it DID make my face much softer and it didnt make me break out...deffinetly not a during the day thing though and i wont buy it again.

Thoroughly disappointed...do not buy!
August 23, 2012
I bought this on a recent trip to the US. I usually love the "Yes to" but this product was absolutely awful! Although its expiry date is well over a year away, I thought it was overdue when I used it! The texture of the product is inconsistent and lumpy. It has a cream texture with little small white globs. It's difficult to rub onto my skin and leaves white blotches on my face. After spending a good 30 seconds trying to rub in the cream as evenly as possible it leaves a waxy sticky film on my face. This film stays on your face until you wash it off and even then you might have to wash it a second time to get it completely off. Unfortunately I didn't keep the receipt and can't get a refund. :(

Difficult product, but worth it.
August 16, 2012
It does not go on well and it is hard to work into your skin. However it has an SPF in it, and it is not oily. I have had no problem with it clogging my pores. Unfortunately skin care products with SPF in them are just not nice to wear. They smell funny and wear funny, but it is part of having sun protection on your face. I have never found one I love, and this one does what it should. I recommend using a little of the soothing lotion under this and it goes on a little better. I have an SPF in my makeup, so I only wear this if I am going to be outside for a while.

least favorite yes to product
July 27, 2012
This was the most disappointing purchase I have made to date on a Yes To product. It is way to thick to use at all and especially during the summer. I do not like the feel of moisturizer on my face and would prefer to use nothing over using this product.

Like rubbing glue on your face :(
July 16, 2012
I was SOO disappointed in this product. I love almost everyone of the yes products, but definitely not this one. It was thick and smelled awful. It was also very hard to spread on the face, felt like I was pulling my skin off. To take it off I needed to wash my face twice.

It needs a little work.
July 10, 2012
This product needs a little work, but otherwise it's a nice product. It does what most everyone else says it does. It is thick and doesn't spread/absorb into the skin easily. I found that if you use another moisturizer before using this product it does much better. I like this product because I can put it on in the morning and it will last all day. Even with being in the sun all day. It also doesn't make my skin burn like most sunscreens do.

For people with truly sensitive skin
July 2, 2012
Products with any sunscreen usually make me break out in a horrible rash. I am able to use this for sun protection without breaking out. Yes, it's a mineral blocker, which means it doesn't absorb right away and can look a little chalky. However, if you wait a minute to let it absorb, it looks fine. And for those of us with really sensitive skin, it's totally worth it!

Very difficult to absorb, horrible consistency
June 27, 2012
I had read in a recent magazine article that this was a great natural sunscreen for daily use. Wow, was I disappointed. It separated, was impossible to rub in and it took several times to wash it off. I thought that I had received a bad bottle, but after reading the similar reviews, I guess it's just a bad product. Don't buy this, you'll be very disappointed.

little trick goe a long way!
June 21, 2012
I find that the trick with this product is to apply it as good as possible , given that it won't spread evenly on the face and just wait a few minutes then for whatever reason it is much easier to spread and it does get abosorbed by the skin....it took me a while to figure it out...but worth the extra time...great protection and love the fresh smell.

NOT a daily moisturizer
June 20, 2012
Despite being marketed as a daily moisturizer, this product is far too much like a classic zinc oxide sunscreen for daily use. It is greasy, thick, cumbersome, and scented far too strongly for a daily use moisturizer. This is more suited for pool/beach use, as another reviewer stated. Very disappointed in this product.

awful!
June 9, 2012
I am a really big fan of the Yes to brand (or at least I was until I broke out into a rash all over my face, chest and neck thanks to the wipes), but this is just the worst facial moisturizer that I have ever tried! The product is thick, won't absorb and made my face turn bright red, hot and itchy. I have tried a LOT of products and never EVER have had an allergic reaction, and yet with the Yes to Cucumber facial products I have been having very bad luck.

Too thick!
June 8, 2012
This moisturizer is incredibly thick, and after several minutes of attempting to rub it in I gave up. Even using a makeup removing face wash couldnt get it off (I had to lather 3 times!) Unappealing waxy consistency, I will never buy again.

This was disappointing.
June 8, 2012
I ended up trying this because I LOVE the other cucumber daily moisturizer, and I saw that this one had SPF in it. I love moisturizers with SPF because using them is skipping a second step of adding sun screen to your face and then worrying about break outs. I didn't like this at all, though. It wasn't anything like how I expected. It's thick, clumpy, and it doesn't rub into your skin at all. It just separates when you try. The more you try to rub it in, the more it separates. I wish I could at least use up the bottle, but after 2 tries, I've just given up. It also smells bad. I hate the texture of it. It's just been sitting on my bathroom counter. I'm glad I tried the other moisturizer first and that this wasn't my first experience with "Yes To" products.

not what i wanted
June 7, 2012
i ran out of my ytcarrots and thought with my sensitive skin i'd try the cucumber. as others say, it comes out like i'm putting on zinc oxide. it feels like sunscreen -- not a moisturizer. i thought about returning it to get more carrot or try the blueberries. i really like the higher spf, but i don't want a heavy sunscreen on my face every day. i've decided to keep this for poolside days.
Apply to your clean, beautiful face on a daily basis. Massage gently into your skin until lotion is absorbed.
